      • Airport Transfer

    • You may take a taxi from the Airport Taxi Station to most of the Congress hotels. Taxis are metered. To avoid confusion and overcharge, it is suggested to ask for receipt (pronounced as "Fa Piao" in Chinese) from taxi driver.
    • Invitation Letter / Visa
    • You are required a visa to enter the People's Republic of China. Please check with your local Chinese embassy or consulate to obtain the necessary documents. Please allow enough time to process your visa.

    • On request, the Chinese Medical Association is pleased to send an invitation for participation and a visa notice form in CIT 2017.Such an invitation is not a commitment on the part of the CIT to provide any nancial support, nor is it a guarantee of theacceptance of an abstract, nor a guarantee that the consulate will issue the visa. While we are pleased to provide documentationof your registration to attend CIT, visa issuance is at the sole discretion of the consular ocer. Letters of invitation and visanotice forms are sent to only those individuals who are registered to attend CIT 2017 and whose payments have been veried. Torequest an invitation letter and a visa notice form, please contact the CIT registration bureau. Information such as your passportnumber, citizenship and occupation must be provided otherwise the visa notice form is not valid.
    • Liability
    • The Congress is not responsible for airfare, hotel, or other costs incurred by participants in the event of program or registration cancellation. Please note, in the event that the China Interventional Therapeutics 2017, also known as CIT 2017, is abbreviated or canceled because of circumstances beyond the Chinese Medical Association's control, including, but not limited to, civil disturbance, earthquake, electrical outage, explosion, re, freight embargo, strike or labor unrest, ood, hurricane, tornado or other acts of God, an act of war, terrorism, or the act of any government (de facto or de jure), or any government agency or ocial, the Chinese Medical Association reserve the right, at the Chinese Medical Association's sole discretion, to unilaterally terminate the Congress. In these circumstances, the registrant expressly agrees to waive any claim that he, she, or it may have against the Chinese Medical Association for damages or compensation, including, but not limited to, fees for registration, housing, airfare, and/or incidental charges.
    • Climate and Clothes
    • Late March is spring in Beijing, the golden season with an average temperature of 13.6 degrees Celsius (57 degrees Fahrenheit). Light cloths and a suit for formal occasions would be appropriate.
    • Credit Cards and Currency
    • Major credit cards like Master, Visa and American Express areacceptable in most big shopping centers and hotels. Major foreign currencies can be changed to the Chinese currency RMBat the airport, the Bank of China or hotels. American dollars can be changed into Chinese currency (RMB yuan) at a rate of about USD 1 to RMB 6.6778 as of September, 2016, but the exchange rate is subject to change.

    • Facilities such as IDD, fax and Internet are available in hotels
    • Tipping
    • Except for some tour guides and hotel porters, no people in China expect tipping.
    • Electricity
    • The local voltage is 200-240 volts AC, 50 cycles. Transformers reducing the voltage to 110-120 volts, 60 cycles are available in some hotels.

    • Please visit congress website at www.citmd.com to registeronline. If you have diculties in accessing internet, you may complete the Registration & Housing Form for Individuals andsend it back with full payment to the Secretariat, one registration form per participant. The CIT Secretariat reserves the right to charge the correct amount if dierent form the total payment listed on the registration form. If there are more than 10 participants registering in a group, please contact the Secretariat for special Registration Form(s)
    • Registration Procedures
    • Upon receipt of the Registration Form with the appropriatepayment, the Secretariat will send a registration conrmation to the registrant. If you do not receive a conrmation letter from the Secretariat 6 weeks after your mailing/fax, please contact the Secretariat. Please bring the registration conrmation to the registration desk at the China National Convention Center as a proof of your payment.
    • Online Registration
    • Register online at www.citmd.com. Fill in the Credit Card Payment Authorization Form and fax to Congress secretariat at +86 10 6512 3754 to complete the online registration process. The Chinese Medical Association is not responsible for fraudulent credit card transactions.
    • Cancellation and Refund
    • Notication of cancellation must be submitted in writing before
    • March 1, 2017. The refund details are as follows:
