Airport Transfer
You may take a taxi from the Airport Taxi Station to most of the Congress hotels. Taxis are metered. To avoid confusion and overcharge, it is suggested to ask for receipt (pronounced as "Fa Piao" in Chinese) from taxi driver.
Invitation Letter / Visa
You are required a visa to enter the People's Republic of China. Please check with your local Chinese embassy or consulate to obtain the necessary documents. Please allow enough time to process your visa.

On request, the Chinese Medical Association is pleased to send an invitation for participation and a visa notice form in CIT2018. Such an invitation is not a commitment on the part of the CIT to provide any financial support, nor is it a guarantee of the acceptance of an abstract, nor a guarantee that the consulate will issue the visa. While we are pleased to provide documentation of your registration to attend CIT, visa issuance is at the sole discretion of the consular officer. Letters of invitation and visa notice forms are sent to only those individuals who are registered to attend CIT2018 and whose payments have been verifi¬ed. To request an invitation letter and a visa notice form, please contact the CIT registration bureau. Information such as your passport number, citizenship and occupation must be provided otherwise the visanotice form is not valid.
Liability
The Congress is not responsible for airfare, hotel, or other costs incurred by participants in the event of program or registration cancellation. Please note, in the event that the China Interventional Therapeutics 2018, also known as CIT2018, is abbreviated or canceled because of circumstances beyond the Chinese Medical Association's control, including, but not limited to civil disturbance, earthquake, electrical outage, explosion, fire, freight embargo, strike or labor unrest, flood, hurricane, tornado or other acts of God, an act of war, terrorism, or the act of any government (de facto or de jure), or any government agency or official, the Chinese Medical Association reserve the right, at the Chinese Medical Association's sole discretion, to unilaterally terminate the Congress. In these circumstances, the registrant expressly agrees to waive any claim that he, she, or it may have against the Chinese Medical Association for damages or compensation, including, but not limited to, fees for registration, housing, airfareand/or incidental charges.
Climate and Clothes
Late March is spring in Suzhou, the average temperature is 13.6
degrees Celsius (57 degrees Fahrenheit). Light cloths and a suit for
formal occasions would be appropriate.
Credit Cards and Currency
Major credit cards like Master, Visa and American Express are acceptable in most big shopping centers and hotels. Major foreign currencies can be changed to the Chinese currency RMB at the airport, the Bank of China or hotels. American dollars can be changed into Chinese currency (RMB yuan) at a rate of about USD 1 to RMB 6.58 as of October, 2017, but the exchange rate is subject to change.

Facilities such as IDD,
fax and Internet are available in hotels.
Tipping
Except for some tour guides and hotel porters,
no people in China expect tipping.
Electricity
The local voltage is 200-240 volts AC, 50 cycles. Transformers reducing
the voltage to 110-120 volts, 60 cycles are available in some hotels.

How to Register
Please visit congress website at www.citmd.com to register online. If you have difficulties in accessing internet, you may complete the Registration & Housing Form for Individuals and send it back with full payment to the Secretariat, one registration form per participant. The CIT Secretariat reserves the right to charge the correct amount if different form the total payment listed on the registration form. If there are more than 10 participants registering in a group, please contact the Secretariat for special Registration Form(s).
Registration Procedures
Upon receipt of the Registration Form with the appropriate payment, the Secretariat will send a registration confirmation to the registrant. If you do not receive a confirmation letter from the Secretariat 6 weeks after your mailing/fax, please contact the Secretariat. Please bring the registration confirmation to the registration desk at the Suzhou Jinji Lake International Convention Center (JICC) as a proof of your payment.
Online Registration
Register online at www.citmd.com. Fill in the Credit Card Payment Authorization Form and fax to Congress secretariat at +86 10 6512 3754 to complete the online registration process. The Chinese Medical Association is not responsible for fraudulent credit card transactions
Cancellation and Refund
Notification of cancellation must be submitted in writing before
March 1, 2018. The refund details are as follows:

Confirmation
A confirmation will be sent after each reservation, modification or cancellation. You must show the final confirmation letter to the reception desk of the hotel upon check-in.
Final Payment
All bookings must be accompanied by a FULL HOTEL PAYMENT per room. The payment will be credited to your final hotel payment, which should be made directly to the hotel upon check-out.
Modification / Cancellation
Reservation cancellations must be sent to the Secretariat in writing. Refunds will be made after the Congress as follows:
Cancellation on or before March 1, 2018 forfeiture of one-night deposit
Cancellation after March 1, 2018 forfeiture of full hotel payment
No Show forfeiture of full hotel payment
Special Needs
Special needs concerning the hotel rooms will be considered but cannot be guaranteed.

Hotel rooms will be allocated on a "first-come first-served" basis.

The rates are on a per room per night basis and are inclusive of ONE breakfast per day and a 15% hotel service charge.
